Front Seat to the Extraordinary!

11 a m-3 pm | Court Square in Downtown McMinnville | #BlackoutEclipse
The Solar Eclipse
The Great American Eclipse is an extraordinary celestial event. From approximately 12:00-3:00 pm on Monday, August 21, the moon will slowly move in between the sun and the earth and blocking the sun for one minute 50 seconds. The full totality will occur approximately 1:32 pm on August 21.
Only a thin swath of the United States will be able to see the moon completely cover the sun, and McMinnville is uniquely position to see all of this extremely rare event. The last full solar eclipse in the Nashville area occurred in the 1460’s and the next won’t occur until 2566
