Farmers Market
The Warren County Farmers Market is an outdoor market featuring Tennessee only food items mostly from the Upper Cumberland region. The market serves to educate the community about food choices. Buying directly from the growers allows shoppers to ask questions and get answers from the source.
The market features fresh hand-picked vegetables, herbs, prepared meats and baked goods, local cheeses, jams and jellies, canned vegetables, nursery stock, plants and flowers. Occasionally, there are cooking demonstrations and plant and nutritional education seminars. Each month, the market hosts special events that coincide with the growing season. The market provides community development and is a great place to meet friends and neighbors.
The WCFM operates from April thru December, officially from 6:00 am - 12:00 pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays and 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Fridays (please check the Market Schedule for dates). The Farmers Market Pavilion, located under the water tower in downtown McMinnville, provides shopping and entertainment under a shaded canopy with benches for relaxing and listening to the occasional live music. Plenty of free parking is available as well. The pavilion is also a short walk from Main Street through a beautifully landscaped walkway.
