Directions to Downtown McMinnville
From Nashville
Option 1:
Take Interstate 24 East to Exit 111 (Hwy 55 East). Take Highway 55 East to the first McMinnville Exit. Go to the traffic signal and turn right on Chancery Street. You have arrived in downtown when you reach the top of the hill. The first traffic signal is Colville Street. Main Street is the second traffic signal and Morford Street is the third traffic signal.
Option 2:
Take Interstate 24 East to Murfreesboro. Exit at 81B Church Street. Go east on Church Street to Rutherford Blvd (Wendy’s is on the corner). Turn RIGHT on to Rutherford Blvd. and follow it to Mercury Blvd., which is US Hwy 70S. (Walmart on the corner). Turn RIGHT and follow US Hwy 70S through Woodbury to McMinnville. Continue on that road and it will take you right into downtown.
From Chattanooga
Option 1:
Take interstate 24 West to Exit 111 (Hwy 55 East). Take Highway 55 East to the first McMinnville Exit. Go to the traffic signal and turn right on Chancery Street. You have arrived in downtown when you reach the top of the hill. The first traffic signal is Colville Street. Main Street is the second traffic signal and Morford Street is the third traffic signal.
Option 2:
Scenic route across the gorgeous Sequatchie Valley. Take US Hwy 27 North to Soddy Daisy and Merge onto Hwy 111 North. Turn LEFT on Hwy 8 to McMinnville. As you arrive into town you will come to a stop sign at the end of Hwy 8 (Texaco Station on Left). Turn RIGHT on to Hwy. 56 (Beersheba Hwy.) and follow it to downtown McMinnville. Beersheba Highway turns into Colville Street. The first traffic signal will be Chancery Street. To get to Main Street, turn RIGHT and go to the next traffic signal. Morford Street will be the traffic signal immediately following Main Street.
From Knoxville:
Take Interstate 40 West to Exit 288 (Hwy 111) in Cookeville. Head South on Hwy 111 through Sparta. Hwy 111 becomes US Hwy 70S and on to McMinnville. When you arrive in McMinnville, River Park Hospital will be on your right. Continue on the 70S Bypass to the fourth traffic signal (North Spring Street). Turn LEFT and continue until you enter downtown McMinnville. The first traffic signal is Morford Street (Warren County Furniture will be on your right). Turn RIGHT on to Morford Street and continue to Chancery Street (the next traffic signal). Chancery Street intersects downtown on the north/south axis.
