Is the high cost of gas preventing you from shopping or eating downtown? Try UCARTS. UCARTS provides public transportation to rural residents of all ages. Fares are only $ 1.00 each way ($2.00 RT) and each additional stop is only $0.25. Fares outside of designated local area (Warren County) are based on miles traveled and will be billed accordingly. UCARTS operates Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. UCARTS vans do not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, New Year?s Day, MLK Holiday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.

UCARTS is funded by the Federal Transit Administration, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Tennessee Commission On Aging, fares, local revenues, and in-kind contributions. First priority is given to the elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged with medical needs. The service provides deviated, fixed route and demand-responce service.
