Capalano’s Expands Entertainment Offerings

Capalano’s, also known to many the regulars as “Cap’s”, recently completed Phase II renovations of their second-story space at 117 East Main Street in downtown McMinnville. The new space called “Cap’s Attic” will be dedicated the growing music entertainment line-up that has been a popular attraction for several years. (Photo of live band)

The renovation stayed true to the original building downstairs with the exposed rough brick walls, hardwood-style flooring, rustic ceilings, and original windows and doors. Access to the new space is by the internal staircase located at the front of the restaurant. Cap’s will provide full menu and beverage service upstairs during all events. The expansion of musical entertainment upstairs leaves room in the rear of Capalano’s for other entertainment offerings. Known as Cap’s Cave in the rear of the building, three new pool tables, classic pinball machines and video games will join the tournament-style dartboards. Later a jukebox with classic rock and roll, R&B and more will be introduced. (Photo: Cap’s Cave)

Celebrating their third year in business, Capalano’s has grown from a specialty coffee house and café to a destination for quality entertainment for all ages. Some of the most popular bands in the middle Tennessee area have come to Cap’s for gigs and the cozy environment is starting to get some attention from some name acts in Nashville.
